Rubio’s Brings Back Langostino Lobster and Launches Virtual Fundraisers Just in Time for the Holidays
Rubio’s Coastal Grill is kicking off this unprecedented holiday season with the return of a seasonal fan favorite, and by giving back to the community. A long-time holiday tradition, Rubio’s fans begin checking the menu in the fall, eagerly anticipating the return of craveable Langostino Lobster. Its return coincides with the launch of Rubio’s virtual fundraisers, providing support to those in need.
Available now through January 5, Rubio’s guests in California, Arizona and Nevada can enjoy wild-caught and certified sustainable Langostino Lobster. The tender Langostino Lobster is drizzled in warm garlic herb butter and features authentic Baja flavors. This year’s dishes include: the new Puerto Nuevo Burrito made with Langostino Lobster, the Langostino Lobster Bowl and a new Puerto Nuevo two taco plate that includes a Langostino Lobster Taco and The Original Fish Taco®.
In addition, Rubio’s has launched virtual fundraisers, making it easier to support the organizations that need extra help, now more than ever. Guests can now place their order online, in the app or in restaurants, and 30% of all sales will go back to the organization. From sports teams to schools and non-profit organizations, Rubio’s has given back to more than 25,000 community organizations over the years.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Rubio’s has remained open and safely serving guests. While food safety and cleanliness have always been a top priority at Rubio’s, new initiatives include tamper-proof seals on all delivery orders, daily health checks for all team members, protective face coverings and gloves, extensive sanitizing and disinfecting of restaurants and patios, strict social distancing protocols inside and outside and contact-free pickup and delivery.
